A new pair of Beats headphones is coming, and a soccer star 'leaked' them

- His latest Instagram story shows off the unreleased Beats headphones in white and pink colors in what appears to be a coordinated marketing stunt.
- It remains unclear whether the new product will replace the 2023 Beats Studio Pro or the 2024 Beats Solo 4, or if it will launch as a brand-new line.
Apple has been working on a new pair of Beats headphones that have already been spotted at a lot of places so far. Last month, an outline of a new Beats “A3577” over-ear headphone popped up in FCC listings. More recently, Spanish soccer player Lamine Yamal has been posting on Instagram about a pair of unreleased Beats headphones, and we’re now seeing a new color for them too.

This is clearly a marketing move from Beats, as there’s no real reason to be traveling with two pairs of the same unreleased headphones in different colors, and to hang them so precariously on the side of the bag, just to keep them casually but prominently visible. Beats usually starts teasing new products through celebrity sightings before it officially announces them, so the move is straight out of their pre-launch playbook.
There isn’t much more information on these Beats headphones so far, whether they succeed the Beats Studio Pro or the Beats Solo 4, or sit alongside as a third pair in the Beats portfolio. The Beats Studio Pro launched in July 2023, making it the prime candidate for a refresh. The Beats Solo 4 were launched a year later in May 2024, but these were already a refresh to the Solo lineup, so it’s less likely to be refreshed again.
We’ll have to wait for Beats to officially announce the product in the coming weeks to see which direction the company takes.
