A $120 discount on a pair of fabulous headphones is fantastic, but we know paying $429 is still a hefty investment. You need to be sure it’s a worthy product. Spoiler: they are worth it!
If you check out our list of the best headphones, you’ll notice we list the Apple AirPods Max as the top option for iPhone users. There’s definitely a lot to like about these.
Let’s start with the design, which offers that iconic look Apple is so famous for. We all love that minimalist look, featuring a clean metallic build. The large earpads and headband are soft and comfortable. They are great for long listening sessions.
The rest of the experience is just as impressive. Audio quality and ANC performance are among the best in the industry. And because these are premium cans, you’ll get all the cool features you can expect. These include auto-pausing, automatic device switching, gesture controls, and direct access to Siri voice commands.
Just keep in mind that most of these are Apple-exclusive features, which will only work with iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks. This is why we only really recommend these to those invested in the Apple ecosystem.
In terms of battery life, you’re looking at about 21 hours per full charge, based on our tests. While no longer as impressive, that is a pretty nice battery life. Apple actually claims an estimate of 20 hours, so they did better than we were expecting.
When testing the Apple AirPods Max, we had very little to complain about. Our only real concern was the price, and that gets much better with this deal! Go catch this deal before it’s gone!
