While a $119.01 discount is great, we know the Apple AirPods Max are still not cheap at $429. That said, these are excellent headphones for the right customer. More specifically, for Apple device users. This is also a record-low price we’ve only seen once in the past, back in July, during Prime Day.

There’s a lot to like about the Apple AirPods Max. For starters, they have a gorgeous, sleek design that is now iconic. The clean, metallic look is lovely. Not to mention, the large, soft earpads make them super comfortable, so they are great for long listening sessions.

The rest of the experience is just as polished. These have outstanding sound quality, and ANC performance is among the best out there. Of course, they also come with plenty of fancy features. These include auto-pausing upon removing them, automatic device switching, gesture controls, and direct access to Siri voice commands. Just keep in mind that most of these are exclusive to Apple devices, which is why we mostly recommend these only to iPhone, iPad, or Mac users.

Battery life is no longer impressive in 2025, but it is pretty decent. Our standardized tests yielded about 21 hours per full charge. That’s actually pretty nice, though, as Apple estimates it is 20 hours!

The only real complaint has always been the price, but that gets a little better today. Jump on this as soon as possible. These deals don’t usually last long!
