The AirPods 4 just came out and are already on sale
Most people give two weeks’ notice before they quit, but Apple dropped the price of the AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation ($169.99, Amazon) and AirPods 4 ($119.99, Amazon) just four days after their release. Jokes aside, this is great news for Apple fans. The AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation are Apple’s first unsealed earbuds with ANC. The AirPods 4, on the other hand, are Apple’s standard, non-noise canceling earbuds with an open fit.

Aside from ANC, the pricier AirPods 4 also have Apple’s Transparency mode; you won’t find that on the standard pick. The AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation also feature an integrated speaker on their case. This is great for locating the case in a small, cluttered space.
While the AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation are impressive, in that the ANC works rather well for the open-fit design, there’s no comparison to the AirPods Pro 2. The Pro earbuds are leagues better for pure ANC performance and sound quality.
