Amazon has cut the newest Amazon Echo Pop Kids to $29.99, down from its $49.99 recommended retail price. That saves you $20, a 40% discount off the RRP, and puts this kid-focused smart speaker back near its best price of the year.
The only time it has been cheaper was during the Prime Day sale, so this is still a strong chance to grab it at a lower price without waiting around. It also has a 4.7-star rating, which should give parents a bit more confidence before they buy.
The Echo Pop Kids is the kid-friendly version of Amazon’s compact Echo Pop smart speaker, built for bedrooms and play spaces with child-friendly designs. A big part of the package is 6 months of Amazon Kids Plus, which includes kid-friendly audio content, jokes, homework help, audiobooks, and Alexa experiences.
Parents also get built-in controls through Amazon Kids. That includes age filters, time limits, and activity management, so it is easier to decide how and when kids use it. Amazon has also added Sleep Studio support, with calming stories, sounds, meditations, and bedtime routines. On top of that, it works with newer Alexa experiences for kids, including more interactive voice features and storytelling.
