Sony is expanding its INZONE gaming gear line with two new audio products aimed at competitive and PC gamers: the INZONE H9 II wireless noise canceling headset and the INZONE E9, the company’s first in-ear monitors. Both models are available now, priced at $349.99 USD for the H9 II and $149.99 USD for the E9.

These devices were co-developed with esports team FNATIC, whose input shaped the sound tuning, comfort, and noise isolation to optimize performance in first-person shooter (FPS) games. Sony also confirmed that the INZONE E9 has been approved for professional use at the Apex Legends Global Series Year 5 Championship.

We’re currently working on the full reviews for the H9 II and E9, but here’s a quick rundown of each.

INZONE H9 II: Wireless headphones for competitive gamers

The INZONE H9 II now has a detachable boom mic.

The INZONE H9 II is Sony’s latest flagship gaming headset, designed for immersive FPS gameplay and long-term wear. It uses the same 30mm driver from the WH-1000XM6 headphones and includes active noise canceling, 360 Spatial Sound, and support for low-latency wireless via USB-C dongle.

A key feature is the super wideband detachable mic, which offers natural voice clarity enhanced by AI-powered noise reduction. The headset weighs approximately 260g without the mic (273g with), and the new spring-hinge headband improves comfort for extended sessions. With LE Audio and Bluetooth Classic, it can maintain simultaneous connections to gaming systems and smartphones. Battery life is estimated to reach 30 hours, and a soft pouch is included for portability.

The INZONE E9 in-ear monitors are a lightweight, wired alternative for players preferring minimal on-head bulk—ideal for use under earmuffs in esports events. The sealed earbud structure and customizable hybrid tips provide passive noise isolation, while the tuning, refined with FNATIC, emphasizes key game sounds like footsteps and gunfire.

Weighing less than 20 grams, the E9 is built for pressure-free wear and is compatible with 3.5mm and USB-C connections via an adapter. It works with Sony’s INZONE Hub software (when using the adapter, which allows for EQ customization, spatial audio, and virtual 7.1 surround sound. The box includes a carry case and two sets of ear tips.

A larger INZONE ecosystem

Alongside the audio gear, Sony is launching new peripherals, including the INZONE KBD-H75 mechanical keyboard, INZONE Mouse-A, and two mousepads (Mat-D and Mat-F). These additions round out a growing INZONE product lineup geared toward PC gaming and esports.
