Qobuz has officially rolled out Qobuz Connect, its long-anticipated direct streaming feature designed to rival Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect. Instead of routing playback through Bluetooth or third-party apps, Qobuz Connect streams music straight from the cloud to compatible Hi-Fi gear—think amps, network streamers, and wireless speakers—while your phone or computer acts purely as a remote. This instantly improves the user experience by eliminating app-juggling and maintaining true Hi-Res quality up to 24-bit/192kHz. The difference is subtle but significant: better stability, cleaner sound, and no audio quality loss due to Bluetooth compression.
You can start an album on your laptop and switch to your phone or home audio setup without skipping a beat.
