Pick up the UE Roll for $49.99 at Best Buy
The UE Roll hit stores about a year ago, with the promise of packing everything that people liked about the UE Boom into a smaller, more portable form factor. It’s delivered on that promise, quickly making it’s way into a number of best waterproof speaker lists (including ours), but there was always one aspect about the speaker that was less than enjoyable, and that was the $100 price tag. It’s since dropped to a significantly cheaper price point on Amazon, but now you can get it for half off at Best Buy as it’s on sale for only $49.99.
The UE Roll is IPX7 certified and an estimated 9 hour battery life. It’s round and has UE’s signature volume buttons that we’ve grown accustomed to with the Boom series. The speaker is able to push sound in 360 degrees thanks to it’s unique shape and the placement of its drivers. It also has an elastic band on the back which allows you to hang it from places like a shower head or from a backpack while hiking. Though it doesn’t float on its own, you can purchase a floatie separately for the speaker to make sure it stays above water.
We’re not entirely sure how long this new price is going to last, so if you’ve been wanting one but thought it was a little too expensive, make sure to act on this sale just in case it goes back up to regular price. They come in a few different color options including black, red, green, blue and purple. There are some special edition designs you can get as well from the UE website, but those remain regularly priced.
