New Powerbeats 2 colors to match your Apple Watch
If you were one of the Apple elite who decided to purchase an Apple Watch, you may or may not be aware of the fact that it has internal memory to store music. This is particularly useful for those who plan to wear the watch while running or exercising since you can connect Bluetooth headphones directly to it and leave your phone behind.
To highlight this, Apple has released new colors for the Powerbeats 2 wireless headphones that match the different colors of the sports bands for their watch. The price stays the same at $200, but now you can get them in black sport, white sport, pink sport, blue sport, or green sport. Why they chose to add the word “sport” to the end of each color instead of just adding the new colors to the existing selection is beyond me, but that’s why they make the big bucks.
The Powerbeats 2 made our list for the best wireless headphones for running mainly because they have a decent sound with a great fit. They’re IPX4 water and sweat resistant and have a clip on design that keeps them from falling off even during the most intense workouts. Sure they have a little more boom to the low end than some of their other competitors in the audio market, but for some people that extra bass is exactly what they need to hear to keep them going.
With a battery life of 6 hours, they’re not the longest lasting pair of headphones but that should be fine for most usage cases unless you’re participating in a triathlon.
