Neurable's brain-tracking headphones get lighter and cheaper with the MW75 Neuro LT
September 30, 2025

- Neurable MW75 Neuro LT is available for pre-order for $499
- The headphones bring the same EEG brain-tracking tech with new app features such as a Brain Age metric and Anxiety Scores.
Neurable launched the first consumer brain-tracking headphones last year with the MW75 Neuro. These premium headphones monitor your cognitive state using EEG sensors embedded in the earpads. Think of them as a fitness tracker for your brain, measuring focus levels, mental fatigue, and cognitive performance in real time.
Now the company is addressing the original’s biggest barriers: weight and price. The new MW75 Neuro LT drops the cost by $200 to $499 while cutting 44 grams to hopefully improve all-day wearability.
New app features make brain data more actionable

While the core EEG technology remains unchanged, Neurable has added much to the software experience. For instance, there’s a 2-minute Cognitive Snapshot that gives you a quick assessment of how well-rested and ready your brain is, Real-time Cognitive Strain Detection alerts to warn you of burnout before it hits, and a Weekly Brain Age Tracking to show how your daily habits are influencing brain health over time. There is also a new Anxiety Resilience Score to help measure your capacity for stress management, which sounds like something we could all use in this day and age.
The 12-channel EEG sensors embedded in the fabric earpads remain unchanged, continuing to monitor focus levels, mental fatigue, and cognitive performance in real-time. The Neurable app gamifies productivity with daily focus goals and streak tracking, but these new metrics should provide more comprehensive mental health insights.
As much as I loved using the original MW75 Neuro to understand my focus patterns and optimize productivity, I had to admit the $699 price point was a barrier for most people. As such, the $200 price drop is nice to see and brings brain-tracking closer to consumer headphone territory in a lighter package, hopefully allowing more people to experience the feature.
Whether brain-tracking headphones become as mainstream as fitness trackers remains to be seen, but the MW75 Neuro LT removes significant adoption barriers for those curious about quantifying their mental performance.
