Bose SoundLink Revolve and Revolve+ available now
Audio behemoth Bose has released yet another addition to their SoundLink line of speakers. The Revolve and Revolve+ feature a completely round design which, unlike their predecessors, allows them to spit out audio in 360 degrees. This allows the speaker to be placed anywhere in a room and output audio evenly to anyone listening around it.
Along with the new design, Bose packed in a heap of technology. In a form factor no larger than a pint glass the Revolve features a transducer, dual-passive radiators, a pressure trap, and an acoustic deflector. All these components are housed in a water resistant casing, meaning you can take it poolside or keep it next to the tub for a romantic bubble bath. It also goes to stand that you could drop the speaker outside or even into the bathtub because it has bumpers to help buffer damage to the speaker. Yes this speaker not only looks very classy with its seamless design, but it can take a beating as well. Notably, the Revolve+ has a handle to help listeners bear the weight of the extra half pound of that device over the Revolve.
On the spec sheet, the Revolve has a battery life of up to 12 hours, weighs 1.46lbs and prices at $199.95 while the Revolve+ has a battery life of 16 hours, weighs 2lbs and is priced at $299.95. Two Revolve units can be paired together to create even more sound. Both units have Siri and Google Now capabilities directly built in to the speaker and have the ability to change listening modes and pair with another Revolve speaker through the Bose Connect app.
The Bose Revolve and Revolve+ are available now from various online retailers at $199.95 and $299.95 respectively.
