Call me the mid-tier master! I never buy either the cheapest or the most expensive things. Instead, I find the mid-tier products that offer the most bang per buck. As such, my personal speaker choice is the Anker Soundcore Boom 2. Its retail price is already very welcoming at $139.99, but right now you can get it at its record-low price of $89.99!

We have a full list of the best Bluetooth speakers. While the Anker Soundcore Boom 2 doesn’t make it to the featured list, it is included in the honorable mentions. The thing is, the main options are either overpriced, more focused on portability (so tiny and not as powerful), huge, or not portable at all.

I find the Anker Soundcore Boom 2 to strike the perfect balance. It is portable, affordable, powerful, has a really nice bass, the battery life is outstanding, and it even has cool lighting effects.

The speaker gets surprisingly loud for its size and price. It has an 80W output with Bass UP mode enabled. It has a 50W subwoofer and two 15W tweeters. As already mentioned, the bass is surprisingly nice, too. Honestly, I have taken it on picnics and medium gatherings, and have had to lower the volume to keep noise at a reasonable level.

It measures 295 x 94 x 184 mm and weighs 1.7 kg. While very portable, it feels solid. The plastic doesn’t feel cheap at all, and it has an aluminum grill. Additionally, you’ll enjoy an IPX7 rating for water resistance. It will even float, so you won’t lose it if you drop it in a lake.

Then there are the cool factors, like the two customizable lights on the sides. There’s also PartyCast support, so you can play multiple of these simultaneously. Considering the price, buying a couple or a few of these shouldn’t hurt your wallet too much!

If you want in on this deal, keep in mind it’s an Amazon Prime Day deal, and this event ends after tonight! Make sure to sign up for it before tomorrow, or the discount will be gone.
