Our sound engineer has recommended Beyerdynamics DT 770 Pro Studio Headphones for a recording project that we are working on. I don’t see them reviewed on your site; do you have information that you could share, please?

Hey there!

You know, I actually have two versions from Beyerdynamic sitting on my desk at home that are close to finished for review. You should know that there are several pairs of headphones that are used for monitoring in sound projects, and the DT 770 has been in the mix (rimshot) for years and years. They are a very safe bet for monitoring—I personally prefer the Sony MDR-V7506, but the Beyerdynamics are far, far more comfortable.

You cannot go wrong with either!

If you wear glasses, the DT 770s are going to fit you better, as the velour ear pads don’t snag or grip eyeglasses arms.

I’ll get to hustling on those reviews in the meantime if you have more questions once you’ve gotten your headphones 🙂

Happy listening, and good luck with your project!
