Master and Dynamic partners with Leica for new headphone line

Today, Master & Dynamic, in partnership with Leica Camera, took the wraps off four new products inspired by the legendary Leica Noctilux f/0.95 portrait lens.
Appealing to those familiar with the luxury camera company, each product bears the iconic design accoutrements of the Leica aesthetic. Headlining the show is a version of Master & Dynamic’s flagship MW60 headphones ($549), backed up by a Leica-fied version of the MW40 (399), and a new version of the ME05 ($199). Additionally, there is also a new version of the Black Steel MP1000 headphone stand ($59) bearing the new branding.
For audiophiles unfamiliar with Leica, it is one of the oldest and most storied optics companies. It has created some of the most-emulated camera designs in history from the mid 1920s, as well as some of the most high-end camera products to date. You’ve likely heard a photographer mention the “Leica look” even if you’re not familiar with what it is.
While no availability has been set in stone, look out for the new products to hit Master & Dynamic’s online store, and select retailers.
