Bayan Audio expands its reach to North America

While Bayan Audio may be a familiar name if you’re from the UK or any number of Europian countries, it isn’t as recognizable on the other side of the pond. As of now, that is set to change, as Bayan Audio is now going to offer its products in both the United States and Canada.

In the press release announcing Bayan Audio’s entrance into the North American market, CEO Prash Vadgama said that the company feels that now is the right time, adding “Although we appreciate that it is both an aggressive and challenging market, we have made the decision to enter as we have a strong and experienced partner to work with. We also draw confidence from the positive feedback which we have received for our products which are principally based on design, quality and acoustic performance”

All of Bayan Audio’s products, which focus on Bluetooth audio, will now be available to North American customers. The company’s Streamport Universal is a small device that adds Bluetooth capabilities, including aptX and NFC, to any stereo, while the Soundbook is a Bluetooth speaker that has been well received by the press.

Perhaps the coolest of Bayan Audio’s products is the Soundbook X3, a big brother of sorts to the Soundbook. In addition to aptX and NFC, it also boasts an aluminum enclosure, built-in FM radio, and the ability to charge other USB devices.
