This month we reviewed some cool stuff, but it was a super slow month for news as everyone is probably waiting for the fall to release new products, so instead of news we decided to look for some of the best deals we could find in audio.

Apple Discounts a few Beats Products

If you weren’t randomly searching their product pages you might have missed it, but Apple just discounted a few of their products by a good amount so if you’ve been waiting to get some Beats now is your chance. The Beats Pill+, urBeats, and Beats EP On-Ear headphones will be on sale until basically the end of this month on August 26th. The Pill+ will cost you $199, while the urBeats and Beats EP are now $79 and $99.

Master & Dynamic Back to School Sale

Master & Dynamic is also having a really great deal over at their website. From August 3rd through September 4th you’ll get a free pair of black ME03 in-ears (usually $159) with the purchase of any pair of headphones. Just add any pair of headphones to your cart and then the ME03’s will be automatically added. Plus you’ll also get two free Audible book downloads sent to your email shortly afterwards.

Best Gaming Headsets

Pound for pound this is the most versatile gaming headset out there.

Every month we show off one of our best of lists for things we think you guys would like, and this month you should visit the best gaming headsets. Whether you only play video games after work, on weekends, or every second of everyday, a good gaming headset is key. These are some of the better ones that won’t destroy your wallet.

Best of July

Of the things we reviewed in July the V-MODA Forza Metallo Wireless are my personal favorites. As much as I prefer the sound of their wired counterparts, I just feel like this wireless model looks so damn sleek. It’s super comfortable to wear and the microphone quality is top notch. If you’re a commuter these are definitely worth checking out assuming you have $170 to blow.

Bang for your Buck

This month our bang for your buck pick goes to the NuForce/MassDrop EDC in-ears. Chris got a chance to review them and came away with some positive thoughts. Though these are only $59 making them really affordable for a pair of IEM’s, you were only able to get a pair if you got in on the drop when they were selling it on the site. It’s since closed so if you didn’t get a pair you’re going to have to keep an eye out on them the next time they become available because they’re worth the money.
