Braven announces new fashionable Bluetooth speaker
Braven has a number of wireless speakers in all shapes, sizes, colors, and styles. They have an Outdoor Series for their more rugged options, but the newest speaker addition will be added to their Design Series. The Braven Lux is both a portable Bluetooth speaker and a fashion accessory. Roughly the size of your palm, the Lux has a grill that comes in three different colors and a sophisticated, eye-catching design on the front. The control buttons are placed on one side of the device in an aesthetically minimal grid while all of the ports, including auxiliary and USB out, are located on the other.
The Lux has an estimated 12 hours of playback to go along with it’s 1400 mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery that can also be used to charge your device. If you forget it out on the porch during a rainstorm, it’s IPX5 certified water-resistant so at least you know that it will survive. One cool feature about the Lux is the ability to pair it with any other Braven 7-Series speaker to get a complete stereo experience. They also have a built-in microphone and speakerphone that enable the user to answer incoming calls if necessary. Clearly there’s more to the Braven Lux than it’s good looks.
For the $99.99 price tag, the Lux isn’t a bad option if you’re yearning for ultra-portability and fashion. It comes in pearl white, gold, and purple so if you’re interested in making a fashion statement definitely check it out. It even makes a good alternative to roses.
